This man Ilan Smith makes the tales of the Paul the Octopus
sound like childsplay as he not only predicted the outcome of the world cup
correctly, but predicted the goal scorer and the exact time he would score the
goal. I don’t know about you guys but that is..... both creepy and amazing.
It all went down in Supersport.com studio in South Africa.
Ilan put down his prediction of the winner on a piece of paper which was then
locked in a box prior to the beginning of the match. After the match, Ilan
unlocked the box and unveiled his prediction. The supersport presenters in the
studio were all in disbelief as Ilan’s prediction was 100 % accurate. On a
piece of paper Ilan wrote Germany 1-0 Argentina, 113.00 minutes, Scorer –
Gotze.
Joseph Kuffour, one of the analyst present in the studio
asked him why he didn’t give him the information to enable him make some money
with it – funny but true. Kuffour would probably be a few millions richer now
if he was the person in possession of that knowledge prior to the beginning of
the game.
